Hedges Direct started trading in 2005 and have been achieving amazing success ever since.
As well as being the UK's leading supplier of hedging plants, we have expanded our ranges over the years and now boast a 16 acre nursery full of hedging, shrubs, garden plants, topiary, climbers, trees...the list goes on.
We believe that we've got something for everyone here and pride ourselves on just that - offering the same exceptional service and products to everyone. Whether you're a homeowner, land owner, garden enthusiast, first time patio grower, landscaper or local council, we can find and supply the right plants for you.

There's more than meets the eye at Hedges Direct. We have decades of horticultural knowledge and experience in the business, driving the range, quality and stock levels. But, behind our nursery, we have an amazing team of ecommerce and business experts too, driving our customer centric ethos and commercial operation.
Our fantastic team is spread across 3 sites, each with the same great culture, and all driven by the same focus - to put smiles on faces and give colour and character to places. This fuels everything we do - from customer service, to product ranges and quality.

Home to our commercial and marketing team, where our people are always working hard to ensure that our website is up to date with the latest, valuable information - all while building integral relationships with our growers, suppliers and dispatch partners.
This is where the customer magic happens... Our York team give five-star guidance, advice and support to our amazing customers.
York House also homes our HR, training and development team. The buzz of this team is something quite special!
It might have started as 5, but we've now grown to over 16 acres - and we're not stopping there! It's the hub and heart of the business.
It can be a little tough for the nursery team. It's a physical role and let's face it, with the UK weather, they have to be prepared for every season - sometimes all of them in one day! We kit them out so they're ready to face every element, and we take time to update them regularly on range changes, orders placed and feedback from customers.
Raring to go and working seamlessly as a team, no one really bats an eyelid when it comes to the weather... or the fact that the site keeps growing in size! Our crew are just full of enthusiasm and always get the job done.
It's really quite simple - to care.
