Topiary By Species

Topiary By Species

i

Often people think about shape first with topiary, as it's generally the shape that captures our interest and imagination. However, for the purists out there, Box is viewed as the classic hedge plant of choice for smaller topiary with its slow growth and compact foliage, whilst Yew has been traditionally used for centuries, to create larger or more intricate shapes due to its faster growth and ease with which its needle-like foliage can be trimmed and shaped.

Today however, topiary is available in a variety of species, and within that a range of shapes and sizes! So here we list topiary by species rather than shape, so that you can see all the options for a species at a glance. Have a look at the choices below - they might surprise you!

As always, if you need help choosing the perfect topiary ball, cone, spiral or standard for your outside space and desired look, our team are always on hand to help. You can call them on 01257 263 873 or email us at [email protected]
