Buddleia
A top destination for any pollinators Buddleia’s are known for their attractively long flower spikes and quick growing habit. It’s this attraction to Buddleia from pollinators that earn them the nickname Butterfly Bush, but it should be noted that many species of bees are equally drawn to Buddleias.
With the varieties we normally sell flowering between July to September, the long, colourful flower spikes will fill your garden with an eye-catching display of bright colours and fragrance, whilst also providing a source of food for insects into the late summer and early autumn.
Whilst the fast growing habit will mean you should plant Buddleja with ample space available for growth, many of the varieties we sell can be easily maintained at a smaller size, creating a small magnet for butterflies in your flower bed.
