Recommended planting densities for pot grown are shown but this is very much a matter of choice and you can increase or reduce the density depending on your level of patience and budget. Cell grown should be planted at 4 per metre in a single row or ideally 6 per metre in a staggered row.

Pruning Advice
Cotoneaster lacteus hedge trimming should be done twice a year, once in early June and again in late September. It is important to prune at the right time, so as not to remove new growing shoots. After pruning, plants benefit from mulching and feeding. Use either a general-purpose fertiliser or specialist rose or other high-potassium fertiliser
