Spiraea
The Spiraea family are fast-growing deciduous shrubs with around 100 different species. Popular for their abundant flowers in summer along with colourful foliage through the seasons, Spiraea, sometimes referred to as Meadowsweet are a staple of beds and borders everywhere.
Our Spiraea varieties are some of the most popular varieties, either with long, green-leaved arching stems containing a plethora of white flowers, or unusually coloured foliage that can have shades of bronze, pink, gold, green, red or purple depending on the season, along with small clusters of pink flowers on tall stems in summer.
These beautiful garden plants never fail to impress and are easy to grow too, being tolerant of most weather conditions and experiencing very few issues with pests or diseases. A moist soil and a sunny or partially shaded aspect and they'll add a delightful dimension to your garden borders.
