 | Golden Leylandii (Cupressocyparis leylandii Castlewellan) This is a beautiful, fast growing (average growth rate 60-75cm), dense, evergreen conifer with yellow spray-like foliage. Like its better-known and even faster growing relative, Leylandii, uncontrolled growth can be a problem, but it can be kept as a neat hedge providing it is regularly clipped in summer and autumn. Golden Leylandii likes full sun or partial shade, and most soils other than wet sites. It is happy in a seaside garden. Golden Leylandii will not regrow from old wood so its important to keep it trimmed regularly rather than allowing it to get out of control and then cutting back severely.
Prices shown are the price per plant. Recommended planting densities are shown but this is very much a matter of choice and you can increase or reduce the density depending on your level of patience.
