Description
Carex pendula is native and found in the wild in damp woods and shady places. Often known as pendulous sedge, Carex pendula Grass has a tufted growing habit with dark green leaves and stems of drooping flower spikes. It makes an interesting garden perennial and is best grown in a cool, damp soil, in a shady or sunny position but self-seeds readily. Carex pendula is a large sedge of the genus.
