Essential planting soil treatment
After Plant Evergreen is a Bio-active fertiliser containing rootgrow, seaweed and nitrogen-fixing bacteria. It's the ideal complementing product to Rootgrow (but can not be used as an alternative). Perfect for keeping your evergreens fresh, lush and green, Afterplant can be used on hedging, topiary and other evergreen garden plants such as Rhododendrons to keep them looking tip-top and encourage a healthy root system.
For plants in the ground apply as a top dressing, lightly working into the top layer of soil and watering in. 1 good handful (25g) per m2 is ideal, meaning one 1kg bag will cover 40m2 i.e. a hedge 40m long if the bed is 1 metre deep (from front to back).
For pot grown plants (such as topiary) remove the top few inches of soil, replace with fresh compost and 1 or 2 (25g-50g) handfuls of Afterplant.
