Description

Hebe or Shrubby Veronica rakaiensis is a very compact Hebe that naturally forms a domed shape as it grows. Its foliage is a striking bright apple-green colour and its leaves are small and abundant. In early summer it develops short white flower spikes with white blooms and as the plant matures, the flowers become more evenly spread across the foliage, than on younger plants.

This pretty Hebe is hardy, drought resistant, pollution tolerant and will grow in most locations and soils, providing they are moist and free-draining - even poorer quality soils. Plant in full sun or partial shade.

Hebe rakaiensis will grow to a maximum height of 50cm-1m and spread of 1-1.5m.
