Description

For a pretty cottage garden look, Nepeta 'Six Hills Giant' is the perfect plant. A vigorous clump-forming perennial, it bears silvery-green leaves and blue-purple flower spikes in summer. The leaves are very aromatic and fragrant, often described as smelling minty or lemony with undertones of thyme and lavender.

It's woth noting that although this is Catmint, not Catnip, cats may be attracted to the plant all the same, so it's great if you have them as pets - they'll enjoy it and it's safe for pets too, but if you don't want this type of furry visitor, perhaps opt for Lavender instead!

Nepeta 'Six Hills Giant' is however an appealing plant for many reasons. It's very hardy and drought resistant and will grow in any location or soil if well-drained. It doesn't like full shade but will tolerate partial shade and loves full sun.

It will grow to a maximum of 1m height and spread.
