Topiary Domes

Topiary Domes

Topiary domes are similar to topiary balls but they have a a slightly more flattened, rounded shape. They are for the most part much larger than topiary balls and being so, are also suited to species not traditionally used for smaller topiary such as Hornbeam, Field Maple and Beech which have much larger leaves than Box and Yew, thus giving a different aesthetic.

Topiary domes can add an individual and unique sense of style and presence along with seasonal interest in those species that are deciduous. Their summer foliage turns and embraces the warm autumn colour palette creating striking and attractive visuals that differ from the traditional evegreen species.

Topiary domes look elegant planted as a pair either side of a large entranceway either in planters or in the garden, making your home stylish and inviting. Plant them in a row along a path or driveway and instantly enhance and make a feature of the area. Topiary Domes can also add statement style and real visual appeal when planted as a single centrepiece in a general planting scheme. They add definition and form as well as drawing the eye, and also look stunning when combined with other topiary shapes and sizes in a 'cloud' type arrangement.

Each species and dome has its own unique characteristics and will certainly create an impression in any garden or grounds with room to accommodate them.
