Description
The hedging species that make up these mixed native instant hedging troughs are ideal for paddocks, fields and gardens, with no plants that are poisonous to livestock and a range of species that provide year round interest and a diverse habitat for wildlife. They are ideal if you are looking for a native mix and an established looking hedge immediately on planting. The developed root system and density of growth ensure that the hedge looks full and will establish swiftly in its new location.
Mixed Native Instant Hedging troughs are available all year round. Please note that as the species' that make up the trough are almost all deciduous, full leaf cover will usually only be present in season.
The troughs will be approximately 50% Hawthorn with a mix of these other native species from the following list: Field Maple, Dogwood, Hazel, Wild Privet, Blackthorn, Viburnum lantana and Viburnum opulus. These species have been selected to provide a long period of interest for humans (in flower, berries, leaf colour, leaf shape) as well as varying wildlife foods and habitat.
