Description
Hydrangea paniculata Graffiti is a very compact hydrangea but while it may be small, it's packed full of character. Featuring deep-green narrow serrated leaves, Hydrangea Graffiti produces abundant and dense cones of flowers which emerge as lime-green before fading to white and then taking on rosy pink tones as they age.
Due to its compact size, Hydrangea Graffiti is an ideal shrub for smaller gardens and will suit beds and borders, but could even be grown in a large pot on the patio.
Hydrangea Graffiti is fairly unfussy of location liking both a sunny or semi-shaded spot and will even grow in poorly drained soil. Although very hardy in the UK, it does like a more sheltered spot to thrive. It will grow to a maximim of 1m height and spread.
Pruning only needs to be done annually as the flowerheads can be left on over the winter. Remove them in spring and cut stems back to the first pair of healthy buds down the stem from the faded flowerhead. Also remove any dead wood.
This hydrangea is supplied in a 5L pot for planting at any time.
