Helenium or Sneezeweed 'The Bishop' is a popular herbaceous perennial for its abundance of charming, daisy-like sunny flowers with a dark central cone that bloom from mid-summer through to autumn. The flowers are borne on long, erect stems rising above the clumped, long-leaved green foliage below and prolong garden blooming time with their later arrival, to refresh your beds and borders when other plants are waning.

Extremely wildlife-friendly, Helenium 'The Bishop' will draw pollinators to your garden like the literal moth to the flame. Its upright habit with strong stems and long-lasting blooms mixes beautifully with grasses or other similar late-blooming perennials such as Echinacea and Rudbeckia, creating a rich tapestry of colour or prairie style garden.

Plant your Helenium 'The Bishop' in a full sun position in moist but well-drained soil. Consistent moisture is needed so water well when the weather is hotter. Deadhead spent flowers to prolong blooming and cut down completely once flowering has finished in autumn. 

This Helenium variety wil grow to around 1m tall and 50cm spread and is both exceptionally hardy and low maintenance so ideal for any level of gardener.
