Description
Wisteria floribunda Macrobotrys is one of the most impressive Japanese wisterias, renowned for its extremely long, cascading racemes of lilac-blue flowers. Flowering in late spring to early summer, the lightly fragrant blooms can reach up to 60–80cm in length, creating a dramatic waterfall effect when trained over pergolas, arches, walls, and trellises.
Vigorous yet controllable, this twining climber produces lush green foliage that provides excellent coverage throughout the growing season. Hardy, long-lived, and highly ornamental, Macrobotrys is ideal for adding architectural structure, height, and breathtaking seasonal colour to the garden.
Supplied in a 3-litre pot, this well-established plant is ready to plant and will quickly establish with suitable support.

Position: Plant in full sun for best flowering. Tolerates light shade.

Pruning: Prune twice yearly-once in summer to control growth and again in winter to encourage flowering.
Winter Care: Fully hardy. No winter protection required.
