Description
Verbena rigida ‘Polaris’ is a compact, vibrant perennial famed for its rich purple flower clusters and long, reliable flowering season. Lower and bushier than the taller Verbena varieties, ‘Polaris’ forms neat mounds of foliage topped with bright, nectar-rich blooms that attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
Growing to around 40–60cm, this variety is perfect for borders, gravel gardens, pots, and prairie-style planting, where it adds bold colour and summer-long interest. Highly drought-tolerant once established and very low maintenance, ‘Polaris’ is an excellent choice for modern planting schemes, wildlife-friendly gardens, and colourful summer displays.
