Unique features include yellow catkins in spring, fruits and nuts in autumn and beautiful autumnal colour *May not be suitable for pets or grazing animals due to containing Wild Cherry. Crab Apple can sometimes have protrusions on the branches but not sharp thorns like Blackthorn or Hawthorn.

Suitable for planting in either sheltered or exposed locations which can be inland or mild coastal areas, and it will grow best in sunny conditions although it will tolerate partial shade.
