Description

Sorbus aucuparia ‘Sheerwater Seedling’ is a refined and upright selection of the native Rowan (Mountain Ash), valued for its neat columnar growth habit and excellent seasonal interest. In late spring, clusters of creamy white flowers appear, attracting pollinators, followed by bright red berries in autumn that are highly attractive to birds.

Feathery green foliage provides light, airy texture through summer before turning rich shades of yellow and orange in autumn. With its narrow, upright form, ‘Sheerwater Seedling’ is ideal for streets, avenues, and gardens where space is limited but height and seasonal impact are desired.

Hardy, reliable, and tolerant of exposed and cooler conditions, this variety is particularly well suited to UK climates and higher elevations.
