Not Ready to Plant Your Bare Roots?
Don’t worry! Here’s how to keep them happy until you’re ready.
- Store your plants in a cool, shady place – a garage or shed is perfect.
- Keep roots moist by wrapping them in damp towels or newspaper. Don’t let them dry out or freeze.
- If planting must be delayed for more than 10 days, “heel-in” your plants outdoors by laying them in a shallow trench and covering the roots with soil.
- When ready, plant in their final position following our planting advice.
