Description

A classic low-growing evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves and pretty blue-violet flowers that pop up from spring right through to autumn. It’s neat, reliable and stays looking good all year round.

Vinca minor  (Lesser Periwinkle) is perfect for weaving through borders or covering awkward shady patches. It spreads steadily but politely and helps keep weeds at bay with minimal effort.

Plant in full sun, full or partial shade, in exposed or sheltered spots. Vinca minor is very unsfussy and likes any soil type if well-drained - even dry shade. It's very low growing only reaching around 15cm tall but can spread up to 1m and grows at a moderate to fast rate.

To keep tidy it needs little pruning, simply trim back wandering stems in spring to tidy the shape and control spread.

Supplied in a 9cm pot for planting at any time of the year.
