Description
Lavender × intermedia ‘Grosso’ is a robust and highly fragrant lavender variety, prized for its long, deep purple flower spikes and strong, classic lavender scent. Flowering from mid to late summer, it produces an abundance of blooms that are ideal for drying, cutting, and filling the garden with fragrance.
Larger and more vigorous than English lavender, ‘Grosso’ is perfect for borders, gravel gardens, mass planting, and low hedging. Drought tolerant once established and extremely easy to grow, it thrives in sunny positions and free-draining soil, making it a favourite for both ornamental and practical planting schemes.
