Description

A compact hydrangea with glorious colour into autumn, Hydrangea 'Pinky Winky' with its lime, vanilla, strawberry and raspberry ice-cream colouring is a true delight. In summer, lime and creamy flower spikes emerge and top vibrant purple-red stems. As they mature through summer and into autumn, the flowers take on pink tones from below which develop up to the tip and then deepen to a stunning raspberry hue. The flowers also have an unusual spicy scent to go with their flirty colours.

Plant Hydrangea paniculata 'Pinky Winky' anywhere in the garden in full sun or partial shade. It will thrive as long as it has moist, well-drained soil but avoid chalky soils.

A deciduous bushy shrub, it will grow to a maximum f 1-1.5m high and 1.5-2.5m spread. As with all hydrangeas, it's harmful to pets if eaten.
