Description
Heuchera ‘Obsidian’ is one of the darkest and most dramatic heucheras available, renowned for its rich black-purple, glossy foliage that delivers stunning contrast in borders, pots, and modern planting schemes. The evergreen, rounded leaves form neat mounds that hold their colour all year, making this variety a must-have for adding depth and structure to garden designs.
In late spring to early summer, delicate creamy-white flowers rise above the foliage on slender stems, softening the bold leaf colour and attracting pollinators. Compact, hardy, and extremely versatile, ‘Obsidian’ performs well in sun or partial shade and pairs beautifully with silver plants, bright greens, and lighter perennials.
