You'll see our recommended planting densities for each size and root type listed in the product grid. We suggest that you use these as a guide, taking into consideration how long you're willing to wait to see your finished hedge. As a rough indication bare roots can be planted at anything from 3 to 7 per metre and cell grown between 4 and 6 - the higher densities here would need to be planted in a double staggered row or zig-zag.

Pruning Advice
Mexican Orange Blossom Golden or Choisya Ternata Sundance requires little in the way of pruning, although stripping out older dead wood and weak shoots around June will help promote strong new growth. Shorten stems by 10-12in after flower to encourage 2nd flush.

Choisya ternata "Sundance"
Choisya ternata 'Sundance' which is the same in all respects as the green version but with bright golden-yellow foliage, is fantastic for bringing some metaphorical sunshine into your planting scheme!
Golden Mexican Orange Blossom will grow best in any free-draining soil in a full sun or lightly shaded position. Ideally plant in a sheltered location as exposed locations can result in some damage to the slightly tender leaves.
