Description
Geranium 'Rozanne' is a striking Geranium variety fully hardy in the UK climate. From June to October, Geranium Rozanne's flowers emerge a unique, intense purple-blue colour with paler centres over mid to dark-green slightly mottled foliage, and are exceptionally attractive to pollinators including bees, butterflies and other insects. This perennial geranium will die back in winter but develop fresh, new growth in spring.
Geranium 'Rozanne' is a fast-growing perennial ideal for filling space in borders or for underplanting. Recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit and also the RHS Plant of the Centenary at Chelsea Flower Show in 2013 so very highly sought after.
Plant in a well-drained but moist soil in sunny or shady conditions. Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced fertiliser, watering well if the weather becomes hot and dry. If plants are looking a little tired through summer, simply remove any dead flower heads or old flowering stems to encourage healthy growth and further flowering.
