Description
Echinacea ‘Green Twister’ takes the classic coneflower and adds a twist — quite literally. Its petals shift from pink at the base to chartreuse green at the tips, curling and twisting slightly for an eye-catching look that changes with the light.
A bold and unusual choice that still ticks all the easy-care boxes. Pollinators adore it, and birds love the seed heads in winter. It adds height, colour and a sense of movement to borders, especially in a prairie-style planting mix.
Plant your Echinacea 'Green Twister' in full sun in a sheltered spot for best colour and in a light, well-drained soil that isn't too rich. It grows to an average of 60-80cm height and 40-50cm spread at a moderate rate.
'Green Twister' is easy to grow and look after - just deadhead to keep the display going, or leave the seed heads up for birds and structure. Cut back old stems in spring. Simple!
