The glossy green foliage can be almost blanketed by the prolific flowering of this shrub leading to a truly magnificent and colourful display that is stand-out spectacular! The flowers are also a magnet for wildlife attracting bees, butterflies and birds.This variety of Ceanothus is ideal for planting along walls, on banks or slopes as a hedge or screen or in a garden border. It is also suitable for planting in coastal areas as it is tolerant of the saltier air.Ceanothus thyrisiflorus 'Skylark' will thrive in a sunny, sheltered position, planted in moist but well-drained soil. Advantageously, this plant requires little or no water, even in summer and is drought tolerant.
