Description
Ceanothus 'Italian Skies' (Californian Lilac 'Italian Skies') is an evergreen, half-hardy, medium sized shrub with small, elliptical and glossy green leaves. Compact conical clusters of deep-blue flowers are produced in late spring.
This variety of Ceanothus is ideal for sheltered spots in courtyard gardens, against walls and can also be trained on a trellis.
Ceanothus 'Italian Skies' is best planted in a sunny, sheltered position in moist but well drained soil. Suits most soil types apart from clay.
