Description
Aster 'Wood's Pink' a variety of Symphyotrichum with delicate, clear pink flowers with bright yellow centres which appear in profusion over neat mounds of green foliage. Like others in the Wood’s series, it stays compact and disease-resistant, flowering well into autumn.
‘Wood’s Pink’ is perfect for adding soft, romantic colour to late-season borders and patio pots. It supports pollinators, requires little maintenance, and holds its shape beautifully without flopping.
Plant in full sun or light shade in moderately fertile, free-draining soil. Best in a sheltered spot, this aster reaches around 30–40cm in height and spread.
Deadhead faded blooms to prolong the display and cut back after flowering. Divide every few years to refresh the plants for everall health and flower production.
Supplied in a 9cm pot to plant at any time of the year.
