Description
Elegant and understated, Anemone 'Andrea Atkinson' bears pure white single to semi-double flowers with yellow centres, and slight pink and green tinges on the outside. The flowers are held on tall stems that float above attractive, deeply divided foliage. It blooms from August to October, brightening up the late-season garden.
‘Andrea Atkinson’ is perfect for brightening part-shaded borders or adding structure to more naturalistic schemes. It’s low maintenance, robust and reliably brings fresh colour when many summer plants are fading.
Grow in partial shade or dappled sunlight in moist, humus-rich soil. It prefers a sheltered spot and reaches 80–100cm tall with a spread of around 50–60cm.
Easy to maintain, simply cut back flower stems in late autumn after flowering and mulch in spring. Allow it to settle in well – it improves with age and returns stronger each year!
Supplied in a 9cm pot for planting at any time of the year.
